I was born and raised in the heart of Milwaukee Wisconsin and lived in the greater Milwaukee area until graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. One of my early jobs, as a 15-year-old was at a bicycle shop located in Brookfield, WI. I was hired to work on the sales floor and quickly realized my enjoyment of helping my clients find a bicycle that would enable them to enjoy the outdoors.
During my college years I joined the UWM ski club on a trip to Breckenridge Colorado. I had grown up skiing on the ski hills of Wisconsin but was utterly moved by the majesty of the Colorado Rockies and after that first trip vowed to return. After graduating from UWM, I found a position as a Guest Services Representative with Beaver Creek Ski Resort and was able to ski, and snowboard, for a total of 115 days that year while helping clients navigate the slopes.
I decided to stay in Colorado but moved to Denver and started working for a local Information Technology integrator in the sales and client services role. I learned a great deal during my 18 years in the IT industry and attribute those years to so many of the blessings I have in my life. During those years I bought my first new car, met my loving wife Kate, bought my current home, adopted our first dog, and welcomed our lovely daughter Olivia into the world.
My daughter is now growing up fast, but I still do my best to stay present in her life. She is extremely creative, a talented singer, loves playing volleyball, and is generally a kind and honest person. I’m so proud of the young woman she is becoming.
I joined Baird in 2025 because I am passionate about client service. In this next chapter of my career, it was important to represent an organization with the highest level of integrity and commitment to the community we serve. I’m just getting started at Baird but am excited about the future and promise to do my best to serve our clients.
When I’m not working, you can find me riding my bicycles, gardening, training my puppy, and spending time with my family. I believe that, as an associate of Baird, it is my responsibility to treat our clients like family because financial well-being and planning is something that everyone deserves.
