Kayla Kashevarof is a recent graduate and first-generation college student from the University of Alaska Anchorage, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration in management. Kayla joined our team in the summer of 2023 as a Private Wealth Management Intern, marking her third internship in Anchorage. Upon graduation, Kayla officially became a full-time member of the team as a Branch Operations Assistant.
Kayla is the first recipient of the Baird Scholarship through The Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program - ANSEP, for those who are continuing their education. This is also a Partnership that started in early 2024, where Baird awarded the organization $100,000 to grow its programming and continue investing in students.
Originally from St. George Island in the Bering Sea, Kayla is the second of six siblings. In her free time, she enjoys traveling throughout the lower 48, riding her snow machine in remote areas of Alaska, and riding her jet ski on the lake.
